Montauk is intentionally concentrated and most hair types only need less than a pea on very damp hair.

Try this for a softer, more natural finish:

Apply on very damp (almost dripping) hair

Emulsify in your palms before applying

Use a smaller amount (especially on fine or short hair)

Apply mid-lengths to ends, not roots

Lightly mist with water if any area feels too textured
